We were walking through those trees, with the fog surrounding us and giving the place a surreal feeling that made us think of the Lord of the Rings...
Oh, no photomanipulation at all, that's exactly as I saw and photographed it.
Thats fabulous, I love when the camera captures surreal scenes that would take forever to try and create...
The angle makes me think you were running and stumbling through the woods and captured this as you fell or something. Gives it a very different feel.
Can't think of any serious critique, I don't know if it would've been possible under the tree canopy, but if the distant light was a little less overexposed it might be better. Then again it might have ruined the truly eerie feel of this.
I just want you to know that the angle, well... I was simply standing, there's no angle in that sense (you can see that from the trees, they only grow vertically, know what I mean?).
I wish I had more patient friends, so that I could have tried different exposures and angles... I've got another good one though, might submit it in the next days...
Thank you again!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
